Without ip address, printer won't connect. so my work around is to navigate to the submenu where you have access to the wlan drx parameter (see the first post on page 2 for direction to navigate to this setting).. I have a canon printer myself (a mg 5422) and have had a similar problem but changed from the ws driver to the mp driver and that fixed the issue, even though i had no usb cable connected. looking forward to any ideas for getting the wireless working on the mx492..
I can't get my mg3620 to connect wireless. i got once to the point where i could enter my password but the attempt still failed. i can't get the the wifi blue to blink fast ( enable ) to find the printer..
